122 Grandview St

The house boasts a 2.7kW PV Solar System producing a net income of over $2000 making the house fully self sufficient for electricity needs.

The house has a beachy, Queensland type feel and appearence. Modern brick veneer downstairs and lightweight construction up top with two opposing curved colourbonded roofs.

There were two main things taken into consideration when designing this Shelly Beach home. Maximum living space for minimum cost and to be GreenSmart and energy efficient. The building is orientated in such a way to utilize sea breezes for cooling during hot summers and offering protection from the south using the sun to warm during the colder winter months.

The interior has hard polished concrete floors throughout the whole ground level. This is softened with the use of solid Jarrah hardwood bench tops and stairs. The open plan design of the house has a galley style kitchen with a large island bench, which makes for a very functional and workable area.
